Govt of Andhra Pradesh, Department of School Education has released AP TET 2013 Notification on 14.07.2013. AP TET 2013 Examination will be held on 1st September instead of 25th of August 2013 as mentioned earlier. Online Applications will be accepted from July 15th. Last Date to apply online is 01.08.2013. Earlier it was believed that, this year, there will be NO TET Examination, and TEST (Teacher Eligibility in Selection Test) will be held for recruiting teachers in AP. But AP State Govt decided against TEST due to Technical Issues and will conduct TET and DSC 2013 examinations separately.

All candidates who possess D.Ed.,/ B.Ed., / Language Pandit or equivalent qualifications and candidates pursuing final year of the said courses during the academic year 2012-2013 with requisite percentage of marks obtained and who aspire to become teachers for classes I to VIII in the schools of the State Government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, Municipality, Private Aided Schools and Private unaided schools in Andhra Pradesh State can appear for APTET. How many papers are there? APTET will be conducted in 2 papers, Paper-I & Paper-II. The candidates who intend to be teachers for classes I to V have to appear for Paper-I and the candidates intending to be teachers for classes VI to VIII have to appear for PaperII. The candidates who intend to be teachers for all classes from I to VIII can appear for both papers, Paper-I and Paper-II. |
Examination Fee:
Candidates has to pay Rs200 as fee through E-Seva centers or www.aponline.gov.in website. Govt may allow D.Ed 2nd year students too to attend for APTET 2013. However this will be cleared only after the official notification releases.
